The Course
The course mixes the university
set 9 hole course skirting the university playing fields, and
a purpose designed course incorporating parts of an old arboretum
and swan lake. The course is predominately flat but very exposed
to the elements. The Uni 9 is quite short (though the TD intends
to "adjust" some holes, where possible), has 5 fairly
open holes and 4 that are viciously tight. The Lake 9 is very different
- generally longer, with 4 technical holes inside an arboretum,
and although the other 5 are more open, they are equally tough (including
an essex-style drive accross the lake). An all-encompassing challenge
for the modern (and ancient) golfer!

Yibble takes on the Lake (it's not as far as it looks,
honestly!)
Format
3x18 for all players, plus final 9 for top 5 players in Open
and Amateur divisions (Advanced and Intermediate). There will be
an early start on Sunday, to allow an early finish.
